Difference types of blockchains

 The XRPL is the digital ledger or blockchain which uses Consensus to secure its transactions. The transaction speed of XRP/XRPL is 1 transaction within 3-5 secs. The digital assets or token used on the XRPL is the digital asset or token, XRP.  It is also Turing incomplete.   

Bitcoin: A Peer-to-Peer Electronic Cash System is the title of the whitepaper describing Bitcoin blockchain. The bitcoin blockchain uses POW, Proof-of-Work, to secure transactions.  The transactions speed of bitcoin is 4 confirmations in 40 minutes. It is also Turing incomplete.  

Ethereum is a Smart Contract blockchain. The Ethereum blockchain uses POS, Proof-of-Stake, to secure transactions. The transactions speed of Ethereum is 20 confirmations in 5 minutes.  It is Turing incomplete.

VeChain blockchain uses POS, Proof-of-Authority. 

Tron is a TRC-10 and TRC-20 token blockchain which uses DPOS, Delegated Proof-of-Stake. 

Cardano blockchain which uses POS, Proof-of-Stake.
